Indian Head Massage 3-day Diploma
Course Structure

Time: 10.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. each day

Day 1:  Introduction - History of Champissage;  Unit 1 - Practical - a massage of the shoulders;  Unit II - Practical - Massage of the upper arms;  Revision of Units I & II.

Day 2:  Discussion - Benefits & Contraindications;  Unit III - Practical - Massage of the neck;  Revision of Units I, II & III;  Unit IV - Practical - Massage of the head;  Revision of Units I - IV.

Day 3:  Introducion of Chakra energy;  Unit V - Practical - Massage of the face, ears and energy balancing techniques;  Stress Management;  Anatomy and discussion of exam format;  Final revision of Units I - V;  Distribution of Attendance Certificates.

Case Study following the course:  10 case studies, of 5 treatments each (25 hours).

Home Study:  Essay - Anatomy Study (taking approximately 15-20 hours).

Examination:  Informal presentation of Case Studies,  Practical examination,  Written examination (90 minutes) based on course material and book ('Indian Head Massage' by Narendra Mehta).

Once qualified you will have the letters IHM LCICI after your name
and can subscribe to the L.C.I.C.I register of therapists, which is
distributed to all those looking for qualifed therapists.

Professional Qualification

Anyone may attend this course. It is an excellent hands-on therapy. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy, and is safe, simple to learn and very effective to give. If you want to practise professionally, you must pass the Diploma exam. Your L.C.I.C.I. accreditation is essential for your insurance cover.
